C = CRY (IWSG)

It does not matter whether you are happy or whether you are sad, it is okay to cry. It does not symbolize weakness, but rather the expression of emotion. I know that for many of us showing too much emotion can seem like we are giving away too much of our pride, but every now and then, I don’t care who you are, you need to cry. It is okay to break down every now and then, have a good cry and just move on. You will feel better afterwards.

  1. I love a good cry - just for clearing out all the emotions so I can start collecting them up again! But, no, it's definitely not a sign of weakness :-)

  2. I agree. It does help and acts as a physical release.

  3. I'm all for having a good cry. I just hate how puffy my eyes are the day after.

  4. Yup, tears are a good release. They wash out your heart. But I agree with Jai about the puffy eyes.

  5. That's why I love tear jerker movies. Sometimes, I don't even realize how much I need a good cry, until the tears explode. I always feel better after a good cry.

  8. Crying is a great stress release. I am just as apt to burst into tears when I'm over-stressed as when I'm sad.

  9. Annalisa - Thank you for agreeing.

    Donna - I completely agree! I have cried a few times because of stress and I did feel better afterwards.

    Nick - Oh, I absolutely agree with you. It makes you feel free in some way.

    Jai - Oh, I know! I look like I have been in a fight or something.

    Elizabeth - Washing out the heart is a beautiful way of looking at it, thank you for sharing it with me. I really like that thought.

    Melissa - I have cried at certain movies, but I tried to cry so that no one saw. My family do not quite understand crying because of a sad movie. But I share your sentiments.

    Bridgetwhelan.com - Tears just tend to sneak up one me sometimes.

    LD Masterson - Hahah! That is a great way of putting it. I agree with you. Certain situations or settings are just now fitting for tears.

    Rhondaerb.com - I can relate to that! I was so upset one time that I cried. Luckily those situations do not happen often.

What is the point?

Today I was plagued with the idea, why? And why?  Everywhere these days there's a silent rule imposed by some invisible person or person...
