I’m really loving this song. It makes me want to dance and twirl. Ellie Goulding knows how to write great songs. It's definitely inspiring some good scenes.

I like Ellie Goulding. My favorite by her is "Dead In The Water" because it really tells the story about two of my main characters in my current WIP.

Music serves as inspiration for me as well. My second novel requires the understanding of the soul mate relationship and the feeling I get when i listen to this song gives me an idea of what should be happening between the characters on an emotional level.
DeleteBeautiful. The only song I know of hers is Lights...I didn't even know she was still on the radio. Now that I don't have a commute to work each day, I rarely listen to music.
ReplyDeleteI mostly listen to the dmx channel on TV, they play just music and that's where I heard this song. It is rather beautiful.

DeleteI think I would have enjoyed the song if it wasn't for the video. It's funny how associations can color reactions. I know there are songs I enjoy primarily because of the movies they recall for me.
ReplyDeleteI heard the song before I saw the video for it and loved it. The words and melody works for me. But no worries about you not liking it. We all have different tastes.
