I have recently agreed to go back to my previous place of employment (before freelancing) to help out a friend for the next two weeks, which means that I will have some money for the festive season, which is a great thing. I have managed to edit a bit after work each day, which I am thankful for.
My sister took us (the family) to the showing of Skyfall. Now what makes this so great is that it was for a specific showing and we were given the V.I.P treatment and we got a free drink and popcorn. I know it might not sound like much, but it is not everyday that we get treated so great.
So what have you guys been up to?

A free drink and popcorn makes it extra special! We can all do with a bit of red-carpet treatment now and then!
ReplyDeleteLindaC - Very true! It just makes you feel great.
ReplyDeleteThat's great you got some work.
ReplyDeleteTonja - It is great. Being broke is just not fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm so out of the loop that I had to be sure SKYFALL was the new James Bond movie. Guess it is. Well I'll say, a drink and pop corn cost more than a movie these days.
ReplyDeleteSorry you are having financial problems. This economy sucks and I fear things may get worse.
I will have to check back on your posts as I was away from blogging all summer too.
Take care and I hope your work goes well.
Love and peace.
Manzanita - Thank you! It is always nice hearing from you. Going to the movies can be really expensive, which made me appreciate the freebie even more.
