Blogging clearly hasn't been a priority, which is upseting. But it is not strange since I've felt far removed from my writer dreams and writing ambitions. My heart has just not been in it. But I hope to change that.
My family and I are doing well during this crazy times of Covid-19, and shocking politcal turmoil. As South Africans we're used to adapting quite quickly, and just keep moving on.
Our Baking Company is doing well. My sisters and I are directors of our company now. We've truly formalized the business, showing we mean business. It's where I spend most of my focus and time.
How have all of you been? How have you managed to find the inspration and discipline to keep on blogging over all these years?
Not only is it July already, but July is almost over. Insanity!

DeleteMostly, I haven't had the inspiration and discipline to keep blogging. I throw up the occasional post, but there's no real rhyme or reason behind it. I aim for once a week, but most months I'm lucky if I do just one post a month.

DeleteCongratulations on your new business. That's great that you can be your own boss, which is a dream that many people have. I don't always blog regularly either; sometimes I go months without blogging due to other work responsibilities. And sometimes I just don't know what to blog about. Also, have you had any trouble accessing your reading list of other people's blogs on Blogger? Mine isn't showing anything.

DeleteHonestly so many things on here changed so much I barely figured out how to blog again😁 But I access my reading list from feedly. It was just easier for me.
It is great having our own business together. It is nice. I like the freedom that comes with having your own business. Even though it is at a standstill right now, my writing was my first time having my own business, and I hope to revive it again soon.
Happy to hear you and your family are all okay. Congratulations on your baking company. Y'all will be a huge success before you know it. Everything is good in Texas. Nasty pandemic, raging crime, horrible swings between a freezing cold winter and blazing hot summer. Even so, we're Texans and we're tough :) So good to hear from you again.
