HERE IT IS...FINALY

ello everyone! I hope you all had an awesome Christmas. Mine was great.

I have the kitchen renovation pictures. But, before I reveal them to you, let me just say that we had no money left for decorating, thanks to the unforeseen building expenses and we ended up having to re-purpose some of our old stuff. So we have yet to do the final kitchen decorating, which might end up being a long way off.

Kitchen Before

Kitchen After

This is actually the kitchen style we wanted.

  1. Oh wow, what a transformation. It looks great! I love the picture of how you wanted it to look, but unfortunately our pockets have limits don't they? It's a great look though, it has that really light feel to it. A great feeling for a kitchen.

  2. Rebecca - Reality is definitely a monster. I personally love how easy it will be to access everything if it is all in drawers. Thank you so much for stopping by.

  3. Even if it's not what you hoped for, at least you can cook and eat now. :) Have a great new year!

  5. It looks great. And, as Tonja said, at least you can cook again. I hope it's not too long before you can decorate the way you want to.

  7. Hey Murees, it looks fabulous... a kitchen in which you definitely feel inspired to "cook up a storm"!
I hope you have a great New Year - see you in 2012!

  8. Tonja - Thank you. That is exactly what we thought and I hope you have a great New year too.

Alex - Yes we did. We had to pitch in with a lot of the work, but it does look better than before, believe it or not. Thank you for stopping by.

Annalisa - Thank you. I guess it will all depend on how much we can save in a short amount of time. But yes, we can do some actual cooking again.

The Golden Eagle - Thank you so much. It surely does make me feel better.

Mish - Thank you. I hope you have a fantastic 2012 as well. See you then.

  9. Awesome. We are in the very early stages of redoing our kitchen because of a small fire that damaged a few of the cabinets. I could not believe the prices we received on the bids. I had no idea how much it cost. Right now I am still choosing the colors. I want a lot of color but I have to be careful because we have a very open floor plan-no walls between the kitchen/dining room and the living room

  10. Melissa - Sorry to hear about the fire. Yes, we also discovered that a kitchen renovation is ridiculously expensive, unfortunately. Good-luck choosing your colors. I am sure you will do a great job.

    Donna - Thank you!
